Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Anna Bjerde, World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, the preparation of projects related to the restoration of Ukrainian transport, energy infrastructure and the healthcare sector health.
Zelensky said it in a telegram Publishreports Ukrinform.
“We always want to warmly welcome our friends and partners in Ukraine. But the World Bank delegation arrived in Kyiv the day Russia launched another massive missile attack on Ukrainian territory. Thank you for staying here. This is an important signal for us. During the meeting with the Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia, Anna Bjerde, we discussed the preparation of projects related to the restoration of Ukrainian transport, energy infrastructure and the field of care health,” the president wrote.
Zelensky also thanked the World Bank and its management for their support and quick response to Ukraine’s needs since the early days of full-scale war.
As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s headquarters on Wednesday to discuss the consequences of the Russian missile strikes and the situation on the front line.
